Ireland & UK Moodlemoot 2012, April 2-4 programme and the book of abstracts

With just over twoweeks to go to the Ireland & UK Moodlemoot in Dublin, the programme and the book of abstracts of accepted presentations are available!

There is nearly 70 presentations in total throughout the three days, on a variety of topics which are covered by the following topics:

  • Moodle 2
  • Implementing & Developing Moodle
  • Teaching & Learning with Moodle
  • Academic takeup of Moodle
  • Student

Ireland & UK Moodlemoot 2012

Registrations opened today for the combined Ireland & UK Moodlemoot 2012. The Moot is being ran in partnership with Dublin City University one of the earliest Moodle adopters in Ireland. The Moodlemoot will be held in Dublin on April 2nd-4th, at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Northwood which is near Dublin airport. The Moot schedule is as follows:

Moodle 2 and IMS LTI

In the past month I added two blog posts to http://www.somerandomthoughts.com about IMS LTI.

The first discussed the new external tool activity that is available in Moodle 2.2, which enables Moodle to connect to a 3rd party IMS LTI compliant activity/site such as a suitably configured wordpress MU or mediawiki. This post is available here

Moodle 2.2 – a Preview

With Moodle 2.2 due out very soon, I added a review on my blog of the features we are going to get in the release.

Moodle 2.0 has been out now since November 25th 2010, yes its been a year already!
