Moodle 2 Themes

As most of you may know there has been a lot of changes in themes for Moodle2.0. Most themes will required a lot of rework to make them work fully from current 1.9.x  to the new 2.0.

The reasons for the changes are well documented and include points like:

• easier theme customisations - both CSS and images
• significant performance improvements
• allow themes to be stored in separate directory without www access (such as dataroot)

There was various posts on Moodle.org about the changes, and most are very much looking forward to them. In the current version of head today, I did 3 quick screenshots of the default theme and two of the themes that appear in Moodle2.0 currrently, Anomaly and Boxxie.

As you can see, the plain is very plain, but boxxie and Anomaly really do look very nice.
