Portfolio Export

To partner the repostiory API import, the portfolio API provides a set of interfaces so that users can easily publish files to all kinds of external document repository systems.  The initial list of portfolios include:

• Mahara
• Box.net
• Flickr
• Google Docs
• Picasa

In addition to exporting to 3rd party systems, this functionality enables the users export his work as a download to his desktop. The following video, briefly introduces the portfolio API settings, and how they are practically used by exporting a forum post to GoogleDocs and exporting a submitted assignment by download to your desktop.
