Step by Step
Its been quite a while since I updated this blog mainly due to workload and some other plans going on in the background including an exciting project which I can hopefully comment on in coming weeks.
This site has really helped me understand a lot more about Drupal 7 and its qualities, and also the extra suitability of http://www.drupalgardens.com as a place to do fast setup of sites with little or no fuss. I have in the past used Wordpress, Joomla, Mambo, Drupal and custom CMS solutions however Drupal 7 is a major leap forward in usability. I cannot wait for it to be out of beta which is why i am using it here.
Back to Moodle 2 however!
Moodle 2.0 Preview 3 has been released. In the intervening weeks i now have a ranged of articles on different aspects of Moodle2.0 with more scheduled. So far I have added items on:
- Private Files Block
- Conditional Activities
- Navigation
- Themes
- Activity Completion
- Repositories
- Portfolio exports
I have a few which are work in progress, including the other new blocks and the reworked activities like Workshop which are very exciting!
To accompany the site, I added a Youtube channel under the mdle2preview user. This houses the videos enabling both PCs, IPads and other machines be able to view the site properly, rather than just having uploaded and embedded flash which would not be a good idea.
Speaking of Ipads, I intend to buy one at end of summer, once others have figured out what the best apps are to have and all the best ways to use it. I dont have time to invest on it right now, but its only a few months away.
So thats all for now, hope you are enjoying the information on the site. Till the next time.
