Collapsed Topics course format for Moodle 2.0

I added a review of this module to my blog. This module provides another alternate course format for those who want something different to the standard vertical topics or weekly formats to help that "scroll of death" where the page is too long.

Is it easy for the learner/student to use?
For the student, this is simple to use, click to expand, click to collapse. It really couldn't be easier.

A blog post review of the Course Format SLIDES for Moodle 2.0

Today i added a new plug-in review on my blog, this time for the course format "Slides". This module provides an alternate course format for those who want something different to the standard vertical topics or weekly formats.

One thing I noticed once the slide loaded was that each of the slide numbers turned grey as they loaded in the background which is why the author explains that it loads each

Today Mary Cooch (aka @moodlefairy) published her review of the PacktPub book Moodle 2.0 for Business by Myself, Jason Cole and Jeanne Cole. Its a bit odd reading a review of something you have written, so I was looking forward to her thoughts.

New Review - Adobe Connect Pro Module for Moodle 2.0

When I was doing a chapter on web conferencing for the PacktPub book Moodle 2.0 for Business, I focused on two systems and one of which was Adobe Connect Pro. I must admit that i used Adobe Connect Pro multiple times a week for meetings, presentations or webinars as required and find it very easy to use.

So today I added the 19th module review to my blog and tackled the Remote Learner Adobe

Managing Committees in Moodle 2.0 - Review

Today's review module of the day at is the Committee Manager module. This module provides a nice intuitive interface for managing the workings of a committee.


What does it do?

This is an academic administration tool.

Latest Reviews of Moodle 2.0 Plugins

Today I added in two reviews of Moodle 2 addons.  The first is of the User Information block which provides a nice block to make it easier to navigate around Moodle for the user. The second review covers the integration activity Easy Integration with BigBlueButton for Moodle 2.0. This reviews the actual activity and its usage.
